He had tried arguing he was recording as a journalist but prosecutors showed evidence during the trial that he believed that filming was simply a "good ploy so I don’t get arrested" and argued in a sentencing memo that "the real purpose of his presence at the Capitol" was "to foment anarchy."

I'd say being nasty, spiteful and utterly devoid of any morals are excellent qualifications for being Trumps running mate. "Post a picture with your dog that doesn’t involve shooting them and throwing them in a gravel pit."
You know what will happen, trump puts Noem on the ticket as VP. maga embraces puppy killing, creates new flags and trunk painting of trump strangling a puppy. The hunting lot kick off about guns again, NRA claim protecting family whilst blaiming the dogs were watching violent video games. Fox spends a weeks coverage finding every rabid dog they can, pushing the protecting your family angle and praising trump for not liking dogs and never owning one.
