trump was listed as an unindicted co-conspirator the Arizona indictment of false electors, but his right-hand man Boris Epshteyn was charged for the first time, which is leading many to think trump is going to be facing many more charges and indictments after the election.

Boris Epshteyn has been listed as an unindicted co-conspirator before but this is the first time he's been charged.

There's more come out from those redacted docs released by Judge Cannon.

A coat hanger or 'very tiny screwdriver' could be used to unlock the Magalardo storage room where trump stored highly classified documents for more than a year, according to a witness in Special Counsel Jack Smith's investigation.

So much for being a highly secure room as trump claimed, in fact it "further bolsters concerns raised by Smith about the lack of security surrounding the documents while they were stored in" Magalardo

Also, "The transcript of the interview was released as part of an ongoing effort by trump and his co-defendants to make additional evidence gathered by Special Counsel Smith public," , so in other words, in an attempt to identify the witnesses to the cult, trumps actually done himself some damage.

WH Correspondence dinner last night, Biden took some jokes about his age then responded about trump that "age is the only thing we have in common. My vice president actually endorsed me."

Host Jost: The Republican candidate for president owes half a billion in fines for bank fraud and is currently spending his days farting himself awake during a porn star hush money trial and the race is tied? The race is tied. Nothing makes sense anymore.

Daily Beast has been to trump tower and found it like trump, tired and disheveled.

Daily Beast's Nell Scovell reported that at least the first two stories of the so-called trump "crown jewel" appear mostly empty with shuttered retail shops undergoing construction, a currency exchange booth looking abandoned and a trump tower gift shop cluttered with "trump 2020" campaign posters.

"Today, it’s notable that there’s no water in the waterfall. And a waterfall without water is just a wall.", the trump cafe is closed for construction, both public terraces closed.

MSNBC host Katie Phang makes the point that Pecker ripped apart trumps excuse the payments to hide stories was all about protecting Melania.
He testified it was all about trumps campaign and trumps election, nothing else, hence the fake stories run against his opponents as well, proving the charges made against trump.

This thread is a sub-forum for anyone/everyone who hates Trump. If you don't like Trump's misogynistic comments, or you dislike his egotistical outbursts, but at the same time you are also concerned about weaponisation of the US justice process (as an example) you are part of the problem not the solution.

Before you start any post, you need to make it very clear how much you hate Trump, else it will be assumed you are part of the MAGA movement and therefore the enemy.
Do you think trump is being unjustly prosecuted?
Which cases and why?
I'm curious to know your answers to this, Eddie. You seem to have disappeared.

Which cases should be dropped, specifically, and for what reasons?

I think a case could be made that the law changes that allowed the EJC case to happen seemed a bespoke arrangement to get trump and politically motivated. He could have avoided it if he hadn't sexually assaulted her in the first case.

The criminal indictments are so serious you have to ask what would be the justification for not prosecuting?

It amazes me that some people have read the same reports, seen the same television news and listened to the same broadcasts and yet cannot, or will not, (or lie because they can see) accept that the 45th president of the United States, was, is and forever will be, a complete and utter disgrace to humanity.

These drive by posts are either trolling (for what genuine reason?) or they are so blind that you have to wonder at the mental capacity of a good deal of humanity.

It genuinely baffles me.

There is an adherence to tRumP and people like Musk, that borders on sycophantic.

It’s scary.

Slightly off topic but last night I was flicking through the TV channels last night and came across a BBC news report about protests at a university. I'm paraphrasing somewhat but the outcome was Anti-Semitic protest at a university. Numerous arrests and only 12 out of 100 were carrying a Student Card . I didn't pay it much attention and flicked onto the next channel which coincidentally happened to be the Al-Jazeera news channel. Pure random chance but they were covering the same news story. Again, I'm paraphrasing but it amounted to Peaceful protests against the genocide in Gaza / Palestine are forceably interrupted by police

It's the same news story but told from different perspectives which end up with radically opposing outcomes.

To some extent, we could say that it's the same with Trump. I'm not going to argue that some people are predisposed to believing absolutely everything that could, by whatever stretch of the imagination, be considered as positive about him; the same way that people who loath him will only seek the negative. Those points are a given. But depending on how something is spun, that can influence how some people view it.

The issue with that is that it’s still difficult to see how anyone can just dismiss the number of cases as politically motivated. They’ve never been needed before and Trump has already been shown to lose an election in 2020 to Biden without the need for court cases.

As an aside there is no requirement to have an SU card as a student. I never had one..:

It would be a pretty weak case. Passed 140-3 in NY assembly, unanimously in NY senate?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adult_Survivors_Act

3,000 cases filed, including against (Democrats) governor Cuomo and mayor Adams.

I wholly agree as there's an absolute Mt Everest of evidence to back up some of the cases against him. Some people are so hopelessly indoctrinated that they simply won't believe. Even if he admitted guilt, they'd believe that he was forced into confessing and that he's actually not guilty but there will be extremes in the opposite direction too; those who believe that he's guilty of everything.

Broadcaster bias plays a significant role in how any story is portrayed. Thankfully I don't have access to the US news channels so I'm stuck with reading things on t'internet but I can imagine that some might well portray his trials as He's been a bit naughty but not as naughty as some people are saying. Whilst others might take the stance of Stone him!

I think I might have had one (early 1990's) in the UK but IIRC it only needed to be presented at the loneliest building on Campus... The library. hehe

I think there are proportion of people who are not influenced by the media. They do not like government/establishment and don't particularly understand it that well. They do however accept conspiracy theories and relgion.
For example https://www.rawstory.com/trump-supporter-silent-cn...

All the evangelicals doing the "pray for trump" bit sucks these people right in, the "drain the swamp", "they abort post natal babies" and so on is all music to their ears.
Some months ago a reporter was talking to trump supporters - one explained that there were actually two governments, the one you see if just for show and the other one was really running things behind the scenes as it had control of the military, with trump at the helm of course - other completely insane beliefs were also shared.

It doesn't matter if it contradicts their criticism of democrats or makes zero sense, they are sure that god sent trump to them and they unquestioningly believe in both and will do so until they die.
The bit I can't work out is they are perfectly happy with trump screwing porn stars while his wife and new born son were at home, but wholeheartedly believe in stolen elections, pizzagate and Biden family crime with zero evidence of any repute.

To these people any negative news report is sabotage on a great man, Legal proceedings against him orchestrated at the highest level because his opponents are scared of him, rulings against him due to corruption. There is no real logic you can apply to their reasoning.

All that said, there have been a few reports recently where the faithful start to question trump - I posted a link a while ago that his team intended to try and split the vote for Biden by encouraging support for 3rd parties. Its blown up in his face after some polls showed that RFK Jr is more likely to split trump's vote (because RFK is a right wing nutcase). So trump tore a strip off him and got flack for it https://www.rawstory.com/trump-supporters-rebel-rf...
Likewise, his wishywashy suport for abortion was not well received.

If some evangelical leaders on the right cirticise him - maybe for the affairs, I reckon there are a good number of people who would follow them.

Think you'll find its more of a security/id card these days rather than an old SU card. My daughter can't get anywhere on campus or halls without swiping in.

More than a few; there's a podcast made by a republican pollster about the views of voters on the two candidates, The Focus Group. There are plenty of Trump voters who aren't going to be voting for him this time round. There are Biden voters who are similarly disaffected, some with reason, some because they've been duped by lies.

Sounds like they might send it back to the lower courts.

Think it’s likely that the hush money case is the only one that will be heard prior to the election now. Not nothing but probably the weakest case against him.
