Find it odd that the police are refusing to give a description of the nutter who is presumably still at large?

The other half complains because one of my cars auto locks the doors as soon as the engine starts, doing so could have perhaps prevented this from happening.

They know who he is and expect to find him soon, so don't want anyone getting hurt through misjudged heroics?

Any attacks involved a corrosive substance like this should be classified as a terrorist attack, with all the punishments that come with it. 9 people got injured here (hoping they all make a full recovery). If this isn't classed as terrorism then why not? Motive should be irrelevant given the sheer destruction and terror it can cause.
The Terrorism Act says that the action must be "for the purpose of advancing a political, religious, racial or ideological cause." Perhaps we don't know if that's the case?

There has always been immigration as people move around the globe in search for something better.

The difference is years ago people would be coming here with a job secured.
Now we let hundreds of thousands in without paperwork and let them do as they please.

Braver than me I was waiting for the confirmation.

There is a certain Modus Operandi though.

Wrong thread fella, but the bit in bold isn't true. The majority of the 600k net migration we've had last year are students or people on worker visas. The boat people or asylum seekers are a small proportion of that.

Apparently from one of the witnesses he was slamming, presumably his own 3 year old, off the floor.

'Attacker smashed child on the floor', witness says

I can't think of much worse of a crime.

BBC says 'alkaline attack'.

Get the basic facts right!

pH matters...

I'm not sure it's always a great idea to educate the scum about how much damage you can do with readily available substances.

It is true, we've let in over 115,000 illegal maritime arrivals since 2018. And that's the ones we know about!

Thoughts to those injured it must be horrific, I burned my hand on acid once, requiring A&E the pain was unbearable.

I just hope its a jilted lover/ ex partner/ some crime of passion rather than a random nutter.

And it’s difficult to think of any punishment currently available here that fits that crime, frankly. Carelss removal of limbs by a blindfolded surgeon during an anesthetic shortage, perhaps.

2018 was last year?

Or are you just not fully with it...

The DM seem to have more details on this - looks like it was the husband/partner who did he. He sounds pretty deranged as he also slammed his kid on the floor as well as the acid attack.

Why are any of these things relevant to this attack? Sometimes I do wonder whether PH has been infiltrated by troll bots.

Indeed. The dinghy chaps are nothing to do with this - homegrown thuggery.

Because terrorism means something else.

It's a bit like saying stalking should be classified as GBH.
