It's the Far Left rubbing the Rights nose in it. But that's what we've come to expect from the Far Left types over the last few years. And then you wonder why the more extreme Right Wing parties gain traction, and you cry over Brexit.
You may think it's all very clever and progressive, it's just a shame you don't realise how divisive pathetic nonsense like this only serves to make the division greater in our society.
The simple fact is, London won't be better as a result of renaming these train lines.
This is just weird. You may think it's all very clever and progressive, it's just a shame you don't realise how divisive pathetic nonsense like this only serves to make the division greater in our society.

It's some train line names.
Get a grip.

Will make using the overground simpler for those who don't use it much. For example, to get from Highbury and Islington to Kensington Olympia, I have to get the overground with final destination Clapham Junction, but there are 2 possible overground lines between those points with only one stopping at Olympia. So chance of getting the wrong train..
In future,it'll be simpler as it'll just mean using the Mildmay Line to Clapham Junction.
Or are you saying we don't need separate names for any of the underground lines either??

Thin end of the slippery slope.
Rammed down your throat right Jesus it's actually funny seeing people getting angry about this.

Giving each line a separate name seems like a really sensible idea to me?

It's just weird watching grown men losing their st over the names.

To be honest, many of us could have identified those likely to fall into the "outraged gammon" category before the thread received any replies......
Isn't Gammon supposed to be racialist or something... Aren't we meant to call them "different realitied" or "rationally challenged". Grrr wokePC gone madz.Bo_apex said:
Renaming tube lines = nice vanity project
As has been pointed out, they haven't be renamed. If they had, you might have a point about the £6m. But they haven't. They never had names. All these different lines were just "The Overground", which was just a mess. Confusing for us in London, let alone tourists. They should have been named years ago.
