If they were going in serious then expect the ballistic missiles and jets in the air in the next hour or so as thats what they would do if it was for real as it would be a layered attack.

IF that happens then its a bit more serious.

Depends on how many readily available reloads they have for Iron dome, and whether they coordinate with Hezbollah to start swamping northern Israel with missiles from Lebanon as the Iranian drone strikes are due to arrive.

Doesn't give any indication of the amount of tile re-grouting that will need doing, or silicone sealant re-application required, so not really much help. But thanks anyway, I appreciate the thought.

I might be naive here but if USA wants to back Israel and Iran wants to attack Israel and have nukes, then if USA backs them doesn’t that mean that USA and possibly U.K. then potentially become a target for nukes?

I’m hoping I’m too stupid to understand politics at this level and that is not a possibility. I don’t really understand why USA and U.K. have to stick their nose into so many conflicts and get involved in other people’s affairs. It strikes me that it is not much different to modern day piracy, appropriating other countries resources and stating that it is to do with global security.

Yep. I’m with you on this. This will have been agreed upon between the US and Iran. The drones -and possibly a Cruise or two - will cause a bit of damage and that will allow the Iranian government to save face.

Or WWIII by Monday.

Depending on how close your kitchen is to LHR, you might find it being remodelled in a quite dramatic fashion anyway. Also, bear in mind your place of work is likely to be turned into stratospheric air pollution, which may or may not have a bearing on your spending plans.

This seems most likely. depends on what is being attacked I suppose. If it's going to be say... military targets in the occupied territories then... well..... that's quite different to say civilians being targeted in cities like tel aviv or jerusalem. We'll find out soon enough.

Iron dome is likely to stop shahed or similar drones easily enough. If Iran actually wanted to hit Israel they have ballistic missiles, this is the warfare equivalent of neds shouting threats at each other across a park.
