as I know there are cases where the guilty have walked free,
How do you "know" this...?
I was the witness for the prosecution.

Read this in the paper, full page spread in, including full name and picture of the accused.

They really need to change the law on this.

So in your opinion a guilty person walked free.

It's a good thing a jury of many more people disagreed.

here is an idea....if the law finds the man not guilty...then the man should sue the tits off this woman...make sure she pays for his lifestyle...cos his life is screwed/finito...doesnt matter if he is innocent, he will never get laid again or have a relationship.

So if there is a possibility of a suit hanging on her head for compensation...this should be fun..if she decides to lose her job and get on benefits..then her assets have to be attached.

Wonder how far she will take it..now this is a protection for men who get in st!

Vote commonsense party!
The downside to that is, rape is very hard to prove, already many genuine victims don't report the crime, I'd rather see anonimty for all until a case is proven, in addition I'd like to see a 'case not proven verdict' as I know there are cases where the guilty have walked free, which for me is very dangerous as the guilty party walks away thinking that what they did was ok.

For those who make false allegations, which are be proven to be so, then yes compensation.
What about a situation where a woman sleeps with a man. She's pissed, her inhibitions come down and she's feeling horny so she screams "give it to me you filthy bd" with the best of them.

In the morning she takes one look and there's no way she would have slept with that man sober ergo it *must* have been rape.

Bearing the effects of beer goggles in mind, is it right or proper that she's allowed to allege rape?

I know this will sound un-PC (as if I care) but the women should have more responsibilty for themselves and not get into a state where they don't know what's happenning...

The whole situation isn't fair.

I've got sh*t faced loads of times and left myself open to being raped by a woman, yet it still hasn't happened. What am I doing wrong?

Time to start banning women from getting drunk, in fact let's ban them from driving as well. And if they get raped, blame them for letting it happen. Seems to work well in the Middle East.

Its called implied consent. Up until 1991 (IIRC) you couldn't rape your wife, marriage was consent in its self! If your missus says no, then no means no!

Funny.
I've lost my virginity to a minging tart who woke me from a drunken slumber by riding me. Unprotected at that. Can't say it's a happy memory.

Ah that is nothing.

My friend is in court shortly for "sexual touching" or something like that.

He pinched a friends arse and she reported this to the police.

Oh yeah this is the 4th time she has done this to a variety of people. Absolutely disgraceful, this is a woman he has known for many years.
Then pinching her arse was a little silly, non?
Which bit of her arse? Her Butt checks can hardly be considered sexual. I mean : Inappropriate perhaps and enough to spoil a good friendship, but that's all

Unless Sexually Touching means actually putting his hands on her Fanny, in which case he probabally deserves it.

Come on which is it?

No, not my opinion, I know I was raped, I did not bring a false allegation, after 12 months of waiting for a trial the prosecution could not prove it beyond resonable doubt.

Don't you dare ban women from getting drunk. Some of my greatest conquests have been with pissed women. As to banning them from driving - are you mad, who's going to drive you home from the pub/party after you've sunk a bottle or two?
