Just shows the level of people that are in the police.
You really have no answer to these three criminal coppers getting arrested, do you?
You really can't see the irony in your posts can you!

The organisation is so corrupt..that they have been arrested and are under investigation.

If you weren't so sad...you'd almost be funny!
Isn't the whole point that he's making is that the Police should not need to investigate themselves....?
This is news, the Force may be getting a bit of a kicking in the news of late, some of it unjustified, but the majority is justified. MOPs are fed up of greed and hypocrisy in many walks of life, the bankers got the wrath first, then the Govt, then public sector workers and police recently.

Just beczause you dont like the links he posts, does not mean they dont belong here and should not result in name calling IMO. It's against PH rules last time I looked.

Christ almighty, I'm no great lover of the police, but will you give it a rest?
This is the news section.
And this is a breaking news story that is already on the BBC and Mail websites.
Press Association: http://www.google.com/hostednews/ukpress/article/A...

So give it a rest, there's a good chap.
You're a funny little man aren't you.
I think sad, pathetic and bitter would be more appropriate. He's on here so much because he hasn't got any friends. After all, would you stand at a bar him!!
That's right, call me names again.

What answer does it demand? There was no question posed!

What is it you want to hear?

"All coppers should be burnt!" - does that work for you?

I think people realise there are issues with the police without every other thread in the P&P (or whatever it is now) being one started by you ,directed at slagging the BiB off! Couldn't you just add this story to one of your other threads on the Police? Why not just start a thread called "Police Suck" and stick all your stories in their?

I think people are just a bit tired of seeing all these different threads which are ultimately about the same thing.

Plus, you got to have a balanced view on these issues as well wink Just because 3 people got caught doing something they shouldn't have, doesn't mean all Cops are bad does it!

You'd do well to actually go visit somewhere like Iran, or Zimbabwe, where the police actually are corrupt and then compare that with the level of 'corruption' in our force. I know which one I'd rather have.

You wouldn't think it by this post, but I actually agree with a lot of what you say. The police are far too empowered atm, and these stories will highlight the that belief. But the way you go about presenting these news stories makes it look like you've got an agenda against them, that's all smile

Has anyone worked out which former PHer the Duke is? It's clearly someone who was once banned and I've a feeling it might be Brucie Babe. Hmm, a little test:

1. Duke, what are your feelings about MacPherson strut suspension and its usage on the BMW 3-series range of vehicles?

2. And finally, Dukie, what do you think about smokers and smoking?

There, that should tip him over the edge...

I thought it was Mark69Sheer, he and his chip that is almost as big as the Dukes went missing not long before the Duke appeared.

Oddly enough the same thought crossed my mind thought I was just being silly however if others recognise Mark in these posts maybe its not just me.

For the person who suggested name calling was against the rules, last time I looked so was trolling (and this must be perlously close to that now by anyones standards) smile
As far as I see it the OP has posted a link to a news story on the BBC and is passing his opinion on it and asking for others to do likewise.
Not sure i agree with your def of trolling. But at least we agree on the name calling!
It is one thing to call GB a "pranny" or worse, ie a public figure, but I tire of the petty name calling of fellow members. This is a community and if the member is out of order, hit the report button and let the mods sort it. If that means he is no longer in the community, then job done.
If you disagree with his post, say so, if you think he is stupid or wrong, say so, but the petty name calling should stop IMO. It just adds fuel his fire anyway.

Surely this is just as worthy of comment on this section as the MPs expenses? Whats more noteworthy is thta the police have been arrested for what seems to be the same offence that has been committed MPs who haven't broken any rules (though some of them are now offering to pay back the excess...odd that the police aren't offered this option)
It actually shows the police (as a whole) in an excellent light, who have a set of professional standards and regulations and when these are transgressed they act with a sharp edge and surgical precision.

So thanks to DoR for bringing these high standards in public office to our attention. The cheating scum should be nicked and prosecuted - and if so, then I hope either

(a) that if prosecuted, then that sets the tone for a subsequent investigation and prosecution of of corrupt parliamental officials and MPs

OR

(b) if the MPs are allowed to 'just pay back the cash' - then these high ideals are applied to these cops.

After all, as DoR must agree - there should be one law and one set of standards and ideals for all. A two-tiered system of standards would be clearly devisive and un-egalitarian.

Well played the Met for gripping a couple of bad uns (if indeed they are bad - as it is still a fundamental concept of innocence until proved guilty)

So...this is actually the Duke's first pro-police and pro-police action post in the one month and 500plus posts he has made with this login AICM5Psmokin

He wasn't this dumb.

DoR I didn't mind, until he came up with reasons why an F1 can is more aerodynamically advanced than all aeroplanes.

It's a story worthy of comment, I feel it just unfortunate that the same theme (anti-plod) are posted by the same people each time. It does seem indicative that such posters are simply searching for anti-plod stories.

If these same stories were posted by various people, then we would think no more about it and they would be being discussed as normal...

People like you have an ability to make a decent forum an univiting place. You are a troll! I don't care which one you used to be, I just wish you'd FO and let these forums progress. It's bad enough they've split up the forum, but people like your spaffing your BS all over the place make me not want to read certain sections.

I don't care if it's a valid news story. If it is, someone else can post it. Instead you sit there trawling the net for any number of stories that you can post it and hope to get this sort of response. I have no doubt that you are quite a lonely person, and your previous life on PH probably made you even more bitter.

Just please give it a rest and stop conforming to the strange character you've created, it's very tedious.

He's not making it up, but it is a misattribution. That was the individual which calls itself 'fuctifino'. As I've said I'm no fan of the police, and I have some sympathy for your point of view, but even I thought that was out of order.

I noticed a lot of ganging up on certain individuals recently, I haven't got any beef with anyone on here, and like to think I get on with most people. But I think if someone posts something that you find uninteresting than why mention it, it makes you look like 1) a bully,
2) an idiot

I don't know the OP and as far as I know he could be a troll/trouble maker, but I don't think there was any problems with this thread. if you're uninterested in the thread don't post, if, if you have a positive contribution then post. But constant slating and seeming victimisation makes PH an unattractive place...

Try being a motoring enthusiast and Bib. Every day you log on and you find one individual (without fail)consistently accusing you and other members of your profession of being corrupt, thugs, nazis, etc etc.

And I mean EVERY post making ridiculous accusations, with absolutely no acceptance of any other point of view. Would you enjoy logging on to find one nutter attacking you at every opportunity.

The 'Duke' has some serious issues. If he can't take it, he shouldn't dish it out. I very much doubt he would have the courage to make such accusations to our faces.

I hope that DoR's car doesn't give any clues to his PH persona. He'll be in for a rough time if any PH BiB's see him! (I hope)
