Farage is going to wipe the floor with this bunch of chinless tosspots.
With reference to a comment above about how they will all gang up on Cameron, I think there's a significant risk that all will attack Farage. The main three and the SNP are vulnerable over the EU; Labour, SNP and the Greens are weak on the economy, and no-one else has anything that looks like an immigration policy.
It's possible that they will seek to distract from these by attacking UKIP. Of course, such a course may not do them any good, for various reasons...
Of course they will, they will try to lynch him. And this will be clearly obvious to all and sundry. And will get UKIP more votes.

What makes Farage less of a'chinless tosspot' than the others?

Erm let me see.

I'm no SNP supporter, but I think Sturgeon will do well tonight. She is very, very sharp.

Bennett, on the other hand must be terrified. She has had plenty of car-crash moments already, and few would bet against another tonight. She will be desperate not to let her party down again. I wonder if she got any sleep last night?

Well he's doomed then. Always gives the wrong answer and lost his mind years ago. Hope for his sake he's got something else to rely on.

Well all the SNP will do is scream "spend spend spend" or " food banks"

With an undercurrent of "fk the English"

I'm yet to see this side of her; i have the distinct feeling that shes just keeping the seat warm for Alex so he can make a triumphant return upon Scottish independence.

That's his Achilles heel, unfortunately for him.

He will have to do much better than his effort on Today this morning then. Mishal Hussein interviewed him about Immigration.

Farage should have a strong position on this : "We want an Australian-style points based immigration system with a cap" This is a perfectly reasonable view, but he was all over the place. This is supposed to be one of his main policies, but he was vague on the details of how it would work in practice, unclear about who would qualify as a skilled worker and sounded like he hadn't thought it through properly.

On the news this morning they said that they will be able to interrupt and speak over each other...are we even going to hear anyone say anything? Seven people with massively differering views aren't going to keep quiet for long are they? Especially as they will want to make an impression on voters.

Greens and UKiPs, love them or not, they are parties of conviction. As apprised to the soft malleable squeamish timid and oozing bug three.
I hope they both do well.

UKip
SNP
Lib Dems are the best 3 at debating, the rest in my opinion are pretty poor.

Did you see Steven Woolfe the other week on Question Time? I wonder if he might actually be better than Farage in the described scenario. Unbelievably cool and level headed.

Appallingly cringey ITV prollfodder.

But I will be watching it purely for another Ms Bennett 'moment'.

I think it will be difficult for anyone to get much of a say here, there's far too many people - exactly what Cameron wanted.
Indeed, it will be a free for all, unless they all do a reverse of "I agree with Nick" and turn on CMD.

I can't see any of them having the time to dwell too deeply on points or being able to challenge others, without others butting in. It could end being a complete waste of time which will suit Dave.

I think i'll settle for some bullst bingo instead (in order of most likely to happen):

CMD: "Let me be clear"
Tough Ed: "Right"
Nige: "Look"
Deputy Nick: "We promise"
Leanne Wood: "In my country"
Sturgeon: "Freedom"
The convict: "Think of the fluffy bunny rabbits"

There won't be any 'debate' going on whatsoever.

There will be 7 school children shouting over one another and not answering any direct questions.

I'm not sure many agree with your assessment of the situation.
Indeed, Cameron appears weak and if he can't face debating with Miliband then he is a weakling as it should be a walkover. Truly a pathetic show by the Tories, only the politics nerds will watch the show anyway and the rest of Britain will vote the way they always have done or whatever newspaper they read tells them to.
The problem with debating against Miliband is that he is arguing against populist politics though; they might not actually work but they sound like good ideas. Tax the rich to pay for everything having a 50p rate of tax is great for envy politics; but actually don't work and will lose money. Argue against that however, and your a rich toff defending his mates. (Despite the fact that red Ed is actually not exactly a everyday working bloke himself)

Ed's politics might not work and anyone who is remotely interested can see that, but those who's only interest in politics is every few years when the news shows the election campaign?
