longshot:

she's found out, flown out, we withdraw her passport, she sues us and wins on some human rights ground as she'll be persecuted for failing and have her ears stapled to her nose, she wins, we then give her house, new identity, money etc.
She then spies on us as we pay for the privilege.
later she cracks goes to tabloids sells story and blows new identity and gets poisoned by a radioactive polo whilst dong the crossword.

Actually, I am very aware of how many attacks have been averted; you do not, but that is OK. As for 9/11, are you saying it was an inside job?? I see, I need to list you in the looney section, right along with the moon hoaxers. hehe
Another Ad Hominem - why are you so rattled?

You believe in the "bearded man on a hill managing to outwit all the most advanced security services on the planet" conspiracy theory on 9/11 (so the WTC7 collapse was due to termites was it?) and write off the whole science of global warming and consider this to be a worldwide conspiracy and scam?

Did you believe the Saddam WMDs conspiracy theory too?

What makes you such fan of conspiracy theories? A shortage of fairy stories when you were little?

Thanks for the spelling lesson; as to the definition, it fits. Economic intel aside; you have no idea how many attacks have been averted due to the very discipline you for some reason despise.
Neither have you.
My opinion is however around zero.

Ah yes - this would be why pilots are searched everyday at security and not allowed to take in any drinks. The same pilots that sit in the cockpit next to a large axe and fly the plane.
Yes, a real victory there rolleyes. Because before then we never had any hijackings did we? How we lived through the 70's without RIPA and various other intrusive police state devices I'll never know.

You may also care to observe that the countries with the largest security agencies have the most trouble. Check out Israel's security - second to none. Funny how Canada just doesn't need it. The industry of paranoia and fear is self fulfulling, real enemies are very very rare, most are carefully cultivated by inept leaders and fertilized by the arms trade. Sweep away the arms trade and you'd have massive outbreaks of peace all over.

Security today is about treating the symptoms while feeding the cause. It works about as well as the medical equivalent too. Do you really think the average Fahlujan (sp) family wanted to attack us? Regardless, his penalty was death.

And then think what happens to the "Worlds Most Dangerous Men". Cheney, Rumsfeld, Bush, Bliar, Brown, Mandelson, Campbell.

Nothing. Except a share of the spoils of war.
So much for national security. The Nationals always lose, and Jimbo above is always looking the wrong way, mistaking 'national security' for 'helping the cabal to rape the public yet again'.

Except for climate change - which is a peculiar aberration from the official line, no idea why Jimbo calls BS on that in particular.

Believing any of the whopping lies fed to us by the government should have stopped with Iraq, but it seems some suckers drink it it. I guess the number of Labour votes show us how many wide eyed imbeciles there are, ready to line up and bend over again.

Canada has security services, they just don't publicise them.

For instance, how much do we know about JTF2 compared to SAS?

Not to mention Israel is surrounded by nations that base their existance on wiping them out. Canada is surrounded by the US or water.

No spy, not even the most ruthless, dedicated and highly trained, can penetrate Canada. They keel over and die of boredom within minutes of landing.

Yes of course they have them as every country does, I'm just saying the most aggressive countries have the largest ones. It's simply market forces - more aggression, arms trading etc, the bigger network you need to sustain the hostility and defend against the backlash. These countries also seem to have the mindset of a 2 year old, just knowing how to attack. Look at how that's cost the average Israeli tax payer - the cost of perpetual war and smiting the non chosen ones. No winning hearts and minds there..

As for lies and danger - recall the attack on Iraq? Unwarranted and illegal, serving only to create people hostile to the US. And after millions of dead Iraqies where are we - in a perpetual war occupying a divided unstable country in ruins.

So for the worlds most dangerous men - lets do a body count. The ones responsible for the most dead bodies are Bush,Cheney,Rumsfeld,Bliar,Brown.
I challenge you to find anyone more dangerous.

And where were the spies during Iraq? Finding Obama? Finding WMDs? Being ignored? Playing with invisible ink?
Maybe they were still trying to expain the demolition of WTC7..

I have my eyes closed
Some questions you seem unable to answer:

Given the dead body count, name the world's most dangerous men.
Explain why the WTC7 tower was predicted to collapse, what the loud bangs were, and why it did.
Explain why the penthouse (resting on the 49 pillar backbone) went first.
Explain why the media told us it had collapsed 20 minutes before it did.
Explain what was the point of these latest russian 'spies' and what possible use they were.
Explain how these 'spies' actually broke the law.
Explain how we were told about Iraq's WMDs and how there were none
Explain why you dismiss climate change but not the 9/11 story in the context of the Iraq lying.
Do you consider the security services work for the government or the people?

I suspect you are too close to the problem to actually see it, if you deal with real but small matters everyday the giant lie above can be tricky to see and impossible to believe. However add up WTC7, and the illegal Iraq war and you should know something is very wrong at the top.

Also remember a lot of innocent people were killed and injured in 9/11, blaming it on a bearded man on a hill and a series of bizarre coincidences is not justice, it is an insult to those who suffered by failing to investigate the prime suspects.

Additionally an illegal war (that kills millions and costs us billions) should be a red flag that we notice and act on, this was a criminal war bought on by a lie and the guilty people have done well out of it. Our hundreds of dead soldiers deserve better than your flippant dismissal of the situation that killed them.

Those questions have been beaten to death on other looney theory threads, go find them yourselves. I will not contribute to other PHer's torture. Go sell sell crazy somewhere else Slick, we are all stocked up here.
BTW, the lowest form of "debate" is to change others' quotes to your words.

So no answers, and no - I haven't found your beliefs explained elsewhere BTW, either on a looney "WTC7 fell down because of a hard stare" thread or a looney "Bearded man on a hill masterminds multiple hijacks for hours with zero resistance". Perhaps you know where the missing plane at the pentagon (when everyone was away) went, where the missing plane in a field is that no one saw is, and why two aeroplane proof trade centre buildings were downed, why WTC7 (that no one touched) came down on schedule, and why no analysis of these building failures has ever been allowed, and why the Bush cabal was so obstructive to the 9/11 enquiry.

And you call me crazy for believing my own eyes over the contradictory ramblings of leaders that lied to us over Iraq?

FFS Jimbo, you want us to be naive over 9/11 but cynical over Climate Change? Not gonna happen mate, it's irrational. Lies are lies, cover ups are cover ups regardless of the subject, sorry - that's just the way it is.

And back to the thread's original subject: Yes - I think this playing spies crap is just some budget hunting, the timing and pathetic-ness of their 'activities' means some federal agency just decided to dust off the file and get some cheap publicity in order to look busy. Frankly apart from the FBI I'd fire them all and save a bundle.
