God this is dull. Just a party political broadcast.
When the best line is some self-satisfied 13 year old saying 'turd' I feel justified in not bothering with QT for the last year or so. Thought the Smoggies might liven things up, but no, dull politicians and dull audience.

Has that Tory bloke said anything yet?
Except for claiming CMD dragged us out of recession? Chocolate fireguard springs to mind.

Bunch of no marks on tonight, some of the audience would make better politicians than this mob and that's going some for Smoggieland.

I'm shocked that Melanie Phillips hasn't mentioned Israel yet but give it time.

How many North East accents have you heard so far? There's been a lot of immigration to Teeside, mainly cockneys and brummies. Who are these bloody people?

I was wondering that. Even allowing for the Teesside Poly er... University of Failed 'A' levels contingent there seems to be a lot of non-Smoggie accents. Every time I go to Middlesboro I hear nothing but local accents.

Had to laugh out loud at that, because it's absolutely on the money the last thing people in Middlesbrough want is to swap Westminster for Tyneside. If anything what Teesside needs is the abolition of the local councils of Middlesbrough, Stockton, Redcar, possibly Hartlepool and maybe Darlington, and have a single unitary authority (that could plan strategically instead of compete to build housing estates to get a bigger govt grant against each other) and be big enough to have its own voice. And a bit more ambition. Tees Valley or a City of Teesside, but of course that would require encumbent turkeys to vote for Xmas.

What....are you mad, the idea is to have more and bigger troughs not get rid of some.
Now if you had said keep all the present department and add another overall controlling Authority with the extra costs, that is what they would like.

Never heard of him before last night. A barrister by profession. Funny how he came across as more 'Used Car Trader'

It reminds me of this:

"See them 2 houses by 'ere?

Well that's mine in the middell, isn'it"

How can anybody take these people seriously?

Seriously.

Really? what right-minded Englishman would think that Kinnock was (is) a normal right thinking human being? not many I would venture.
