I have no idea what the term 'progressive' actually means when the SNP say it.

It pains me to say it, being of Scottish extraction, but the UK would be better off if the Yes vote had succeeded. All we're left with is a bunch of chippy proto-Marxists throwing their weight around and threatening the other parties to the defecit of the rest of the UK.

I find it very amusing that the SNP state there is no way they would vote with Tory.

Um that's a statement you cannot make - you could say we would expect there to be very few if any instances we see eye to eye and could vote together, but we will represent the settled will of the Scottish people in the constituency.

Love SNP using the half my life have had a govt I've not voted for. Question what % would they expect in a democracy? In Scotland c20% of the voters are Tory ... Since Hokyrood not once have they had the govt they voted for ditto Greens etc etc.

Labour and now SNP votes should count for 10 and Tory ones should be discarded, I assume?

So there you have it. The mansion tax will resolve the nhs staffing issue in Scotland. Amazing how far the money goes...

Their next one will be a pledge to feed the entire country using 5 loaves and two fish. (Kudos to a Jewish chippy who first managed to do this).

I tuned in then tuned out. If I wanted to watch a lot of angry Scottish folk I could pop in the Braveheart DVD.
But off topic I was genuinely surprised and disappointed that Andrew Neils This Weeek thing gave further airtime to the Cage people. I like Andrew Neil but thought this was a big error having that guy on.

Beardie did make himself look like a complete tool though. Bizarre moral equivalency used to try and defend his nonsense.

At least Portillo had the presence of mind to ask WTF the BBC was doing giving a platform to the Rt Honourable Member for Raqqa

More food for thought here:
