No he is what is affectionally known as a plastic scouser or woolyback.
There's only one thing worse than a plastic woollyback. A professional one (Tarby, Alexi Sayle, Riki Tomlinson etc).
Given he was born in Liverpool why do you say he's not a scouser.
I didn't.

Is there any way to get QT outside of the UK? I've tried Hola but it doesn't work. FWIW I still pay the UK license fee on an empty property.

Being raised in Culceth doesnt make you a Scouser. Being an Everton supporter doesn't help his case.
Better than being a red wearing bin dipper, surely?

Don't like Burnham, he's useless as a local MP, he is a scouser.

Sorry. I thought you agreed he was a plastic scouser or woolyback and therefore not a scouser. confused

If you take the free account and then set up a dummy twitter account they will give you a GB free - enough to try a program or 2. I use it when I'm in the US, though I have to confess that I haven't used it for the BBC this year.

No need for sorry, my fault. I was railing against collective nouns for Liverpudlians being used in a derogatory fashion when there are plenty of the real thing at whom to coock a snoot. As an original non-professional one myself (lapsed) I felt entitled.

I thought this would help http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news... but as a Londoner but not a Cockney who was born west of London but not in the West End I'm even more confused now. laugh

Thanks for the link, I hadn't seen that before but it confirms what this ancient Whacker (another genuine term for a scouser) grew up with. Except the Birkenhead version smacks of too much hooch in New Brighton.
I was born in Liverpool, Alder Hey hospital as it happens. Others will remember the scandal a few years ago where it was found they had removed and stored various body parts without permission or apparent benefit for many years. I maintain that the reason I never made a fortune was that half of my brain is in a jam jar there in a dark cupboard.
