Absolutely. I've never seen anyone swallow their own tonsils before. "Gulp" doesn't even begin to describe it.

She's currently banging on about colonialism.

Dear gods who is this Paris Lees eejit?

FFS!

Grow up.

If you are so caring (and I really rather doubt you are) how about caring for our people?

Brilliant. The popup on the screen telling me that I can see the double-signed version at 02:50AM. I'm astounded to learn that deaf people don't need sleep, but more intrigued to know if at 02:50AM whoever the double-signers are just spend 30 minutes making the BSL gesture for "w*nker".

I've been waiting for someone to have that retorts for a long time.

If say in a job you take professional qualification say accountancy IF you then leave said company before x amount of time you then need to pay back £xlk for the courses exam fees and study days.
These students think the fees that they are paying is actually the full cost of such degrees when they are much more than that

In some ways taking in a Forign qualified doctor etc to work here given same qualifications are vastly better value for us as a country.

Yes but she's the sort of 'girl' who has a penis. That's what us old blokes call a 'boy'. Having a penis used to be one of the basic essentials of what defined 'boy'.
I thought she was post op. SO no penis. And as you said, it was 'one' item, but things have moved on. Read one of the two threads.
Hmmm. Having a penis and cutting it off doesn't make a boy a girl. It makes a boy a boy who has cut off his penis.

A while ago I'm sure I saw a thread about an odd chap who had tried via various surgeries to turn himself into a parrot (or perhaps a snake). Do you think because he has done this to himself he has somehow now become a parrot? (or snake)?

Dear oh dear.

What a bunch of not very bright, poorly informed virtue signallers.

None of them seem to have a clue on the NHS.

The UKIP guy, Paul Nuttall, is terrible in every respect.

Bored bored bored with economic illiterates opining on the NHS.

Eddie Hitler lookalike is awful. What would you do with the NHS and the issues it now faces?

Nutty was as usual fun and his easy lines are gaining traction without question.
Paris a tactile person - not sure why it though we are a wealthy country. We have 5th highest GDP but sadly due to very high running cots of Govt it's all gone and were borrowing £80billion a year and over a 7 year period have upped our debt to £1.5trillion Plus we have off balance sheet state and public sector pensions totalling c£5trillion. These all together make us not that wealthy at all to the point if we had another bad recession we'd be in trouble/sadly the poorest would be really hit hard

I'd love to see 1990 £/capita v 2015 £/capita. Or have an agreed Govt cross party £/uk population so if we have immigration then taxes go up. Or if we are living longer and have more costly treatments then that's £x more per person.

Smart move on PFI would be to buy them out accept our goats Labour error on the chin and lump it with total debt it will be far cheaper than paying for it year on year for the next 50 years.

What would I do? Admit that free things will always suffer shortage and overuse.

First thing I'd do would be to end this 'free at the point of delivery' folly.

We have had significant growth since then too though, so government spending as a proportion of GDP hasn't changed all that much. In fact it's stayed within a fairly tight range (35-45%) since WW2.
