Awful Tory person, awful Labour person...interesting journo, mental case and a historian I'm not too familiar with...always a wild card the odd historian. hehe

Not sure on a lot of it, but Health was certainly helped with the NHS. For the first time health exceeded Roman times.

Can't stand either of those two politicians - off the scale annoying. Al Jazera bloke a bit of a fire brand, not sure? Do like Max Hastings though. Sensible but without being spectacular.

Um ... ex-editor of the Daily Telegraph, ex-editor of the Evening Standard, first journalist into Port Stanley, prolific author of best-selling books about WWII (The Secret War, Overlord, All Hell Broke Loose etc etc)

He's quite well known.

Soubery. I cannot abide this foul shrieking termagant.
Excellent description. Proven within minutes of the programme beginning! WTF does she think she is?

I'm gonna switch channels, or I might have a sore throat in half an hour's time!

Yes, and I have always and shall always do, and that has nothing to do with you. I tend not to worry much, even when confronted by people acting as you do. biggrinwink

Not at all, you are posting in News,Politics & Economics after all.

I would say not knowing who a leading author on Modern History may be a little hindrance to your credibility.

This is such low quality I can't be bothered watching it.

Labour don't exist any more post Corbyn, the Tories put up an idiot, and the BBC get some idiots in to fill the other spare chairs.

The last questioner Simon Waugh (spelling?) - I'm fairly certain is a regular contributor to the Jeremy Vine show, quite a distinctive voice. Think he's a headmaster at a public school.
