Nice opening by Ken...followed by waffle.
Well, first Denis Skinner this afternoon and now I'm agreeing with Ken Livingston - what a day.

And the ubiquitous Matt Forde is volunteering to go to Syria to take on ISIS, apparently. If he’s as omnipresent there he should be able to sort them out in no time. Probably after a firm telling off for their politically incorrect behaviour.

biggrin It's a funny old world.

Nasty that the woman, the tory and the 'comedian' are guiding the thoughts away that bombing Syria won't result in an increased possibility of terror strikes. They should be honest that by striking can only increases the threat all round.
Funny line from audience...'agreeing with Ken..'...it is indeed a funny old week. biggrin

I'm not convinced bombing or not bombing would make one jot of difference to us being a target from ISIS.

We are a target end of.

At the same time I don't buy this we should bomb because to not to is to outsource our defence by not getting involved, we do that already by the collective defence of NATO.

I agree it will take western boots on the ground and the same time in doing that I don't think the media and the sheeple will stand for the losses that will come. I don't buy the 70000 friendly Syrians ready to step in, unless it includes the Assad regime. It's also probably a war we will have to fight though sooner or later we are hostages to good or ill history.

+1

I've met her a couple of times. Very nice and even prettier in the flesh, could be US president one day.

hehe

Silly remark following a cherry pick - still, "good game good game" and anyone can play.

In terms of comedy on the tv that had some bite, don't forget Till Death Us Do Part to '75 and It Ain't Half Hot Mum.

Fancy the BBC ever supporting offensive, racist material that would be banned today.

"Seventies comedies would not be allowed on television screens today because they were so racist and offensive, the outgoing head of Ofcom has said"

Those tossers laugh game over.

You need comprehension lessons?

OK so you didn't like Gandahar's game, it's not compulsory to like it.

Anyone watch Newsnight? Max Hastings didn't think much of Cameron and Benn's speech, more emotion over logic.

They've just shown Blair's speech from 2003.... biggrin

Every day that Abbot woman is on the telly "What is important is that Jeremy is providing authentic leadership.."

It doesn't matter what the subject is... Abbott is wheeled out to talk about it.

It is as if Corbyn can't find anyone else ( apart from Ken ) .... to do the media stuff.
