it really shows that devolved government actually just brings in more incompetent halfwits into positions of power.
That's exactly it. But worse is that they all have their own ideas of what is right, so we end up with three or four different health services, education and so on, with all the inconsistency and confusion that brings. Scotland and in particular Wales do not need to have their own departments and systems for everything.

We're a small country with no real differences apart from a chunk of Scotland is quite remote. All this devolution does is create division, wastes more money and promotes fkwits like Wood and Jones well above their paygrade.
It's like politics as a whole in terms of the kind of people who have the time and inclination to push themselves forward on the basis that they know better than everyone else what's best for everyone. Each with a different take on it, of course. Quality is out the window before the off.

Can't see why, he was as bad as the rest of them for talking over each other and spouting crap!
Yes but he was spouting right wing anti EU crap which goes down well on here and is therefore acceptable. wink

I thought they were all a bit ste. Nige is too divisive as a figure head for the exit campaign, even if many of his points are valid he just rubs too many people up the wrong way.
I thought it was quite telling that generic left-wing comedian all but acknowledged that Nige was right but couldn't bring himself to say so because he thinks he's a horrible man; condescension and ad-hominem in one bitter little package.

That is true. He is tainted, Steven Woolf is a much better option, he has impressed me, each time I have seen him talk.

Farage wasn't spoiting right wing anti eu crap he was speaking the truth unlike the rest of the panel. We need more people to have a backbone and actually speak the truth on matters rather than dodge tactics.

I'm pretty tolerant of st panel members on QT, but this shower of no-marks and the most irritating TV presenter since Terry Christian started reading badly from an autocue means ah'm oot; tidying the shed is more appealing despite the low temperature out there.

yes

Theo Paphitis is anti EU. Greening will pretend to be open minded on the subject but will essentially back Cameron's stance whilst the other 3 are unashamedly pro-EU - sure this is only one issue but it's hardly a balance.

Whatever could make the bbc choose her??
