The despairing comments over at the Grauniad are good entertainment:

Believe, or we'll kill you. Shameless, open fascism.
For some reason, Fanny describing non-belief in climate change as an 'affliction' really pissed me off.http://www.guardian.co.uk/environment/blog/2010/se...

"Doing nothing about climate change is still a fairly common affliction, even in this day and age. What to do with those people, who are together threatening everybody's existence on this planet?"
It's not an 'affliction' you stupid, retarded, window-licking moron. I just don't believe in your fairy tale you utter, utter fk-knuckle.

Seems they've managed to alienate quite a few folks in the green movement as well - 350.org have issued a press release denouncing the video and withdrawing their support from any 10:10 initiative.

We respect 10:10's previous work to encourage companies, schools, and churches to voluntarily cut their carbon emissions 10%. Upon seeing the video, however, we have informed 10:10 that we can no longer remain partners on 10/10/10 or any other initiative.

Oops.We now need to get Richard Curtis banned from film making and I will be very happy.

I thought one of the most revealing comments in her Guardian interview posted earlier (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=314UCvMmgrU) an throwaway apparently unimportant remark that sums up these peoples atitudes to us all, came at around the 3 minute mark.
"...and the whole individualistic, get in your little car on your own and sit in a traffic jam for two hours and then go to a pointless job...."
Which pays the tax, buys the service or product, which pays for you to critisize me. You fking hypocrite."...and the whole individualistic, get in your little car on your own and sit in a traffic jam for two hours and then go to a pointless job...."

Where the hell do they get this "4 years to the tipping point" argument from?
Because when someone predicts the future they say something will happen in "15 to 20 years", well eleven years down and four to go...munroman said:
Boris has a lot to answer for after helping the stupid bint:
On 2 November 2009, Armstrong was threatened in the streets of north London by three girls whom she described as looking "like something straight out of central casting". They pushed her against a car and pulled out an iron bar. She cried for help and was rescued by Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, who was cycling by.
She happened to be attacked by some women, who looked like actresses and were threatening her (but presumably didn't actually beat her), just as Boris was cycling by?On 2 November 2009, Armstrong was threatened in the streets of north London by three girls whom she described as looking "like something straight out of central casting". Lucky, that ...
Something fishy (heh) going on here ...

Film-maker and climate change activist Ms Armstrong was walking home when she was approached by the group of hoodie-wearing girls.
She said: "I was texting on my phone so didn't notice the girls until they pushed me against the car, quite hard.
"I noticed that one had an iron bar in her hand - it was very frightening."

“I was minding my own business, sending a text, when I heard three boys shouting swear words,” she said.
Reports elsewhere said her attackers were girls but Franny insists they were boys. “They looked like something straight out of central casting. I ignored them and then suddenly they pushed me against a car and pulled out an iron bar. It happened very quickly, but only went on for about 10 seconds.
“Then I saw this big figure coming up the street on a bike so I said ‘excuse me, can you help me please?’ Then I realised it was Boris Johnson.”
