Interesting interview with 10:10's lead nut-job Franny Armstrong:

Funnily enough, her carbon footprint doesn't matter because she's promoting her cause... rolleyes
All the extra YouTube CPU cycles increase energy usage... Come the revolution she'll be up against the wall!

It was real and gathered following a frenzied killing performed during a particularly bad veggie fit.

Interesting commentary here:

Suggests that the whole thing might be a "false flag" campaign.

We are all talking about it, after all...

I had wondered that. The only thing is, assuming it was campaign to reduce CO2 emissions (still not sure) we aren't debating that.

In fact all it's done is enforce our association of the green religion with extremists who won't countenance any form of criticism.

Today we put up a mini-movie about 10:10 and climate change called 'No Pressure’.

With climate change becoming increasingly threatening, and decreasingly talked about in the media, we wanted to find a way to bring this critical issue back into the headlines whilst making people laugh. We were therefore delighted when Britain's leading comedy writer, Richard Curtis - writer of Blackadder, Four Weddings, Notting Hill and many others – agreed to write a short film for the 10:10 campaign. Many people found the resulting film extremely funny, but unfortunately some didn't and we sincerely apologise to anybody we have offended.

As a result of these concerns we've taken it off our website. We won't be making any attempt to censor or remove other versions currently in circulation on the internet.

We'd like to thank the 50+ film professionals and 40+ actors and extras and who gave their time and equipment to the film for free. We greatly value your contributions and the tremendous enthusiasm and professionalism you brought to the project.

At 10:10 we're all about trying new and creative ways of getting people to take action on climate change. Unfortunately in this instance we missed the mark. Oh well, we live and learn.

Onwards and upwards,
You know when someone who is supposed to apologise to you instead says "I'm sorry if you feel like that..." instead of actually apologising?

The arrogance of this is unbeliveable. Showed it to the other half and had to spend 10 minutes proving it wasn't a hoax as she just didn't believe it was real.

I agree with above though. Sounds yet again like one of thoise "I'll say/do/threaten to do/make a film so shocking that although I'll have to retract or cancel, the point has been made and is being reported and debated" type stunts. Just like Pastor Knob-end of Spacktardsville, FL from last month.

It seems like a badly done spoof.

Is the point that if you aren't willing to join the crusade then you deserve to die more than any of the 300,000 er, victims(?) of climate change?

I would have commented "unbelievable", but the Green movement has become a religous crusade and so their "Don't agree with us, you might as well die" attitude is hardly surprising.

I'd like to hope that this will further damage their already eroding support, however these Greenies are fking idiots and will probably start a terrorist campaign against the 'infidels who insult Gore', but it's ok because they're saving the planet rolleyes

Still amazed that so many people have bought this climate bullst.

Help in whatever way you can.

I have e-mailed 10:10 hello@1010org.uk, 02, and also a major 02 dealer, complaining about their appalling video.

It's a PR disaster for them!

And it was great hearing the burble of a classic Corvette today, we would have that pleasure denied to us too!

So climate change campaigners either think that children who can't be bothered to cut their carbon emissions deserve to be killed, or that we don't realise that this is satire, and that films about killing children for political ends are funny.

Either way, I'm not fussed, it's fairly offensive.

Complete disgust at this, heard about it last week. The 10:10 campaign should be ashamed of themselves if this is what they stand for and how they communicate.

This is not short of being blackmail, extrusion, unsolicited pressure and then rest. Next vehicle = bigger engine.

If 10:10 is a charity, they should be referred to the charities commission.
As the latest comment on the Youtube page says:

I call Poe's Law. This is an obvious caricature of global-warming extremism.

Anyone who cannot see the satire is either slow-witted — or an uptight, humourless tt.
