I do wish the fking stupid nannying bd swear filter would leave people's fking names alone, Scunthorpe. Thanks TB, useful clarifications that weren't, to me at least, clear in the original graph.
Even if there had been a correlation with increasing CO2 there's still the usual elephant in the room that warmists like to ignore. As there is no correlation apparent then it's all just weather.

It is only by rigidly enforcing conformity to the consensus and refusing to engage in any debate, that the big lie can stay safely hidden.

It’s about being trapped in a lie, which has grown massively out of all proportion
That's what it is, not forgetting the fact that there isn't enough metaphorical egg in the world to plaster on the famous faces of those conned into belief - exit strategies demand time and while the famous gullible people are still alive it's going to be difficult for them to admit they got it so badly, expensively and fatally wrong.mybrainhurts said:

Always reminds me of a road sign on the outskirts of Grimsby directing traffic towards Scunthorpe on top of which somebody had childishly scrawled an addition giving 'who put the ct in Scunthorpe', childish but amusing all the same.
Iirc that one started out along the lines of "If Typhoo put the tea in BriTain, who put the ..."Art0ir said:
I almost posted a link to an article by that clown yesterday, another in which he cites his own previous articles in the text as hyperlinks affirming his assertions. Looks like he's gone further this time and more or less stolen the title to his piece!I'm no longer allowed on there(!) and note the number of 'removed' comments by the green Stazi but there are some incredible claims in both article and comments. On course for a disasterous 6 degrees C rise he claims. Really?
And warmer oceans are guaranteed to increase the storms. Really? Confirmed, is this? Someone unbanned ought to add a comment or two challenging the all humans are polluters fanboys.
Hope when they finally go under (can't come soon enough imo) he is part of the staff cull.

Were you both given any reason for being banned? Can you say a little bit more about what actually happened?
Just surprises me that, they think it is in their interest to ban people who provide logical and reasoned opinions that differ from theirs?
Nope mot in my case, I have heard of others not sure if they were given a reason Just surprises me that, they think it is in their interest to ban people who provide logical and reasoned opinions that differ from theirs?
You lot must have been very abusive to get banned, what did you all do? Or is it just a case of posting something that they disagree with is enough to get the ban? I noticed there are many moderated/deleted posts.
If anyone wants something in particular posting perhaps myself or Kerplunk could assist?

Lesson for Bloomberg and The Guardian
The only strategies that will help us effectively prepare for future disasters are those that have succeeded in the past: strategic land use, structural protection, and effective forecasts, warnings and evacuations. That is the real lesson of Sandy.

No, not abusive at all - now had two personas banned and posts pulled or rejected out of hand, merely for asking for evidence/proof of assertions by various journalists and commentators (on the posts) and (the thing that really riled them I suspect) asking what scientific credentials and professional experience some have had to justify what they have written. I can't recall any actual abuse or profanities being used, just a little ironic at times. No reasons given either even when I emailed to ask why.If anyone wants something in particular posting perhaps myself or Kerplunk could assist?
