Libyan troops have opened fire with machine-guns and large-calibre weapons on anti-government protesters in the second city Benghazi, witnesses say.
An unknown number of people, including children, are said to have been killed.
Witnesses described scenes of chaos as snipers shot from the roofs of buildings and demonstrators fought back against troops on the ground.
A doctor at a local hospital said he and his colleagues were treating hundreds of injured protesters.
So much for UK gov "managing" an important oil deal with this murderous, barbaric regime.

This. Sorry but not my problem. I can't fix it, or do anything about it.
Or the value of the "PH collective" shares portfolios tumbling? It may well affect us all, either in the short term until the dissenters are liquidated, or in the long term when (if) a regime change takes place and they remember those who supported said regime.....

As opposed to our government(s) that tortures terrorist 'suspects', detains them without trial, killed unarmed protestors on Bloody Sunday, invaded Iraq and Afghanistan, gives suspended sentences for attempted murder.Libyan troops have opened fire with machine-guns and large-calibre weapons on anti-government protesters in the second city Benghazi, witnesses say.

What do you expect? In all honesty, what do you expect? We deal with China FFS, and will sell weapons to anyone who can pay, regardless of what oppression they inflict upon their own people.

nly from countries who undertake not to polute the land or sea and have democracy. Also I want them to have gender nuetral employment policies and be nuclear free zones. The only thing is, I'm not sure that Liverpool has much crude oil.
Nope, no good either. We pollute the sea and we have nuclear weapons. You could also argue that we don't have gender neutral employment laws.Jasandjules said:

Very much this. If we decided to stop doing business with anybody who was "a bit naughty" we would not do business with anyone. With the possible exception of Denmark. In all honesty, what do you expect? Don't know em. Never will. Same way I didn't cry when Diana drove into a wall.
I bet they don't even think about the fact their actions might put another couple of pence on a gallon. Selfish bds.
