So now a second brother from the Brighton family which spawned three idiot jihadists has gone off to shag virgins:

http://news.sky.com/story/1361927/second-brother-f...

I believe there were three brothers who went out with a 4th person, who is also now dead. Only one of the brothers remains.

There was a bit of hand-wringing about it on the lunchtime news, but with the exception of feeling sorry for any remaining members of their families who might have a more moderate outlook on life, my own view is that a Nelson from the Simpsons meme is about the most appropriate response.

With any luck the rest of the pathetic tts buying one-way tickets to their imagined IS theme park will all go the same way shortly.

So this might spawn a "Saving Terrorist Omar" type of film amongst their supporters.

The moderate fighters, armed, trained and supported by the West, are not soo moderate after all. What a complete and utter surprise.

Anyone and everyone, Civilians, people with head scarves, short people, tall people, people who might look a little Islamic or not. The B1 raids have a well known propensity for laser guided, pinpoint accurate bombing of everyone in the nearest 5 km radius.

The Afghans are well versed in this "surgical strike" capability.

Nature of the beast I'm afraid, we are all impressed with laser guided weapons flying through a window but you can't control HE or shrapnel so accurately

Isis seem to be being pushed back in Iraq, between the Iranians, who have actually committed troops, the air raids, Kurds and what is left of the Iraqi army, they are being driven back.

The Iraqis might have a shot at getting Mosul back later in the year.

Containing Saddam was working, but Dubya wanted to go in and kick arse.

12 years on, and 100's of thousands of deaths later we still do not have a resolution.

Poorly/hastily thought Western military intervention does not work. A job for the UN with Muslim countries leading the campaign.

Egypt seems to be doing OK. if Assad had been toppled by DC & Co, would IS be even stronger?

Several are mentioned in this EA digest; http://eaworldview.com/topics/syria/

Note Aleppo victories where until very recently Assad pretty much had the city surrounded.

This is the beginning , not the end. Treat them & their ideology as a deadly disease.
