The difference is, the make of the car actually makes a difference. Why not include the make of the bomb or missile then, does it change the way it sears flesh and explodes intestines?

Well whilst you're adding pointless descriptions to things why not include the colour of the CAR and also the seat material and the address of the garage where you bought it.

You may as well say sky-blue bombs with double folded seams and burnished rims.

Oh shut up......the "make" of the device is a BARREL bomb you twunk, it describes what it is and it does what it does in a different way than "a-n other bomb".
"Shut up" yourself. BARREL is a description not the make, you "TWUNK". If it's home made then why not call them "home made" bombs.

Oh yes, that's right, that doesn't sound at all nasty does it, doesn't pull at the heart strings quite enough, doesn't have the same emotional value.

So if they shut off Turkeys black market ISIS oil route, does that mean petrol prices will rise again?

Edited by FredClogs on Wednesday 2nd December 18:20
Not in the short term, substantial over production at the moment, and the impending return of Iranian oil will keep it low for quite a while still, unless Saudi decides to stop pumping at the current rate.

Bomb....is the nasty bit

Or a useful fool, using an emotive term to imply a derogatory implication.

I think a large amount of st is going to hit a very big fan sometime soon if this keeps on.

WW3 hasn't been closer since the Cuban missile crisis, we are just lucky Obama is in the White House and not Bush who was a lot more gung ho.
IIRC Bush had a lot better relations with Putin than Obama.

It seems that the pentagon has rubbished Moscow's evidence that the Turks are buying ISIS oil.

Oh they would , wouldn't they? The US and their mighty spying drones et al did nothing to stem the flow of ISIS oil into Turkey. It was only when Russia took the lead and started bombing oil supplies that they started itching for something to do about Russian bombers, oh let's down one of them shall we? I doubt Turkey acted alone without the nodding approval of the US.

Well someone is buying the oil. Turkey is likely to be one of the markets.

I await the US producing evidence of where it's actually going if not Turkey. Note that the US forces have somehow managed not to hit any of the oil convoys that lasted about 5 minutes once another player joined the game.

Washington (CNN)President Barack Obama's former top military intelligence official said Tuesday that the White House ignored reports prefacing the rise of ISIS in 2011 and 2012 because they did not fit its re-election "narrative."

Like some excited grandparent seeing their granddaughter off on her honeymoon. fk me, we'll be getting 'I counted them all out, and I counted them all in again' in a minute.

Get a grip, we've been doing it in Iraq for fking months!

Propaganda and poppycock!

Do you think the rockets, or projectiles or bullets uses by the rebel groups somehow select their target by themselves?

War is terrible and a disgrace and hundreds of thousands have dies since the start of this meaningless conflict.
Driller,

I think you need to go back to the events of March 2011 to Deraa, Syria to remember how this conflict started.

War is of course terrible but as in the case of similar atrocities carried out by governments on their own people one has to step in to 'try' and stop it, if not by diplomatic pressure and mediation, then by force. The fact this particular conflict has turned into a proxy war makes it all the more difficult to sort out. Corbyn theory will, I'm afraid in the case of Syria have zero positive effect.

No, no, no. I woke up this morning feeling 3% safer thanks to Cameron & Co's decision.

(But it will be a bit embarassing if a US-supplied missile takes down an RAF jet.)

Jesus, my facebook feed this morning.

Its like we are actively going out to find every child in Syria, rape them and shoot them and then take a selfie over the corpse!

I am actually a little frightened to be a tory voter!

Particularly when access to petrochemical resources are involved. You left that out.

Indeed. It's all rather depressing.

How long will it take for the planes to get over there? Will they fly straight there?
