Meanwhile, In Syria

Isn't it surprising that the non-IS, non-fighty opposition to the Syrian government doesn't have a well funded news operation like that of the government? Shame on them!
The EU subsidies and the contributions he receives from a donor country he refuses to name suffice, I am sure. That aside, my issue is more that the name conveys some sort of authority. In true Orwellian style, like all of the Empire's propaganda. Red October arrives in the Med with some xmas pressies for ISIS? The FSA?......or Turkey.

Well, in an irony overload, there are now two versions of Pravda. I have no particular love for Putin, Hu Jintao, Robert Mugabe or Assad, but at least they are honest about what and who they are.

This is EXACTLY what I said would happen. They were so frustrated about not being able to bomb Assad that they had to invent a bogeyman to give them the excuse to go in and bomb Assad.Zod said:

Well of course. I also strongly suspect they had a hand in Turkey shooting down the Russian jet. Regardless, they are finished in the region unless they want to directly provoke all-out war with the Russians (rather then via a proxy). Iraq recently announced they will hunt down and kill any incoming US spec. ops in country. I read in the paper that Iraq has complained about Turkish tanks crossing their border and taking up position. The Turks reply saying they are just protecting some forward Syrian militia position. Not bullying the local Kurds.
Into which we rush to drop some ordnance (more generally, but you get the picture).
I'm trying to think if there's been anywhere else with a similar clusterf**k scenario in recent years - with so many sovereign states falling over each other to use up their bullet allowances?

He raises absolutely nothing of the sort, certainly from reading that article anyway.
