Cancelled my Tesco credit card 2 months back because the 0% on purchases expired. I always pay off at the end of the month anyway. But always nice to know the 0% is there should you need it. The main reason I had it was because it was nice and easy to rack up extra Clubcard points on food and fuel.

How long should I wait before re-applying? There is currently no interest to pay on purchases for 16 months from account opening so i'm after a piece of that action smile

There are plenty of other people offering these deals too, albeit without tesco points. I wouldn't let the points be the main driving factor begins getting a card though

Why not if you are paying it off each month?

In fact why are you paying it off each month, why not put it in a cash ISA and then pay it off at the end of the deal and net yourself a bit of interest and points? Did this for a couple of years and worked out nicely, had £20K invested at one point, much better return than cashback/points added together.
