As the title says really. Looking at a car for 7k. The phrase above is mentioned and I can't put it into a context I understand.  Thanks.

Over a set number of months like 36 months for example, depending on their terms?. Thank you for the reply

Yes if you bought the vehicle on finance you would do it over a set number of months, normally 3/5 years
