Next thing that happens is £6 a month starts getting stolen from your bank account/credit card. Phone them and tell them you'll give them one chance to immediately cease their scam or you'll be involving the police.
Err, how is this a scam?Nothing is being stolen as you are buying a service from them, something you have signed up for and, they are open about their mothly charges.
OP, as mentioned, just phone them up and request a cancellation, like all companies they'll try to keep you, but just maintain you want to cancel and they will. Oh, and the police wont be interested in this.
Obliged much for your responses.
There was indeed an email address to customer services, which is not easy to find, but after that you receive an automated response with a freephone number to ring to cancel.
All done, just waiting for written confirmation of cancellation- and hope that they don't raid my bank account for their monthly fee.

Bit of a thread resurrection, but I have been trying for three months to cancel my membership, but again, this month, they have charged me. I am f***ing livid.
Made a comment on Facebook and at least three friends have said they gave up trying and just take the hit every month.
It would seem that social media shaming works.Made a comment on Facebook and at least three friends have said they gave up trying and just take the hit every month.
Just had a comment back from them on my Facebook post, along with a name and an email address to contact.
Will report back.

It's not a direct debit. It's a recurring card payment.Job jobbed
I've cancelled it twice on line, and also had several telephone conversations where it has been confirmed that no more charges will be taken.
But still, they bill.
