Sending a regular payment from Qatar to UK

I will be working in Qatar from November 2014 and will need to send a regular payment to the UK to cover mortgage payments etc. I will be working full time in Qatar. What is the most cost effective way of transferring money? I have an account with Natwest and will hold a local account with CBQ in Qatar.
