Turning John Lewis Vouchers into cash?
Discussion
Blearyeyedgirl and I had a similar problem... until we wanted to kit out a new kitchen. We found loads of offers on white goods about 6 months ago. They're good for techy stuff, usually not far off competitive prices and we had loads of old junk white goods we could trade in to sweeten the deal.
Even if you don't need a new kitchen, have you got a techy thing you can kit out? New home cinema or audio kit, for example? New iPad?

The other option, if you aren't particularly bothered about what people may think of you.
Go to john lewis and ask some of the shoppers if they would exchange their own cash for your vouchers. I remember doing that some years ago in argos as a teenager(no shame)
People are in the store and looking to spend anyway so you only need to find a few willing folk that are on their way to the tills
