Not used them, but know someone who used to work there. I seem to remember they got almost interdealer tight spreads.

Got a good friend who works at HiFx who does exactly this for large amounts.... Can PM you his details if you want? As above, really tight spreads as they're one of the biggest about....

ukforex seems good. Nice thing is you can get a quote and compare all online.
Ive done hundreds of thousands through them. No issues over the years.

I used UK forex this week to bring money back from Spain and it went through very well (and quicker than when I've used the service previously) I'm really an occasional user (about once a year)

Used HiFX a couple of times without any problems, and rates were very good.

Do you need it soon? If not our fx desk are suggesting the rate will improve through the year due to Euro QE through 9/16.

Other than that a decent private bank should be able to help get you a better rate than the online chaps.....

I can recommend Chris Canning at Argentex Private. He has helped a lot of people that I know and was able to discuss the best (and safest) way of exchanging the money. I believe he helped my friend buy Euros at 1.42 a few weeks ago.
