Anyone paid using Amex this year?

No symbol when I tried just now and yet some older forums on Google search appear to prove otherwise...

Thanks in advance.

I was going to but they charge for all forms of credit card payment so I went debit, I didn't see AMEX on the list either (this was approx 1 month ago).

If you can pay by PooPal then just link you Amex card to your PooPal account.

Buy all my Ebay tat this way and get 3% cashback on my Amex card.

Also added bonus of the occasional PooPal / Amex dispute, which Amex always wins.

PooPal sulks quite badly when that happens.

Which is nice.

How do you manage that? Thought the highest you could get was 1.25%?

Yeah I have Amex set up for PayPal but don't think road tax can be purchased with it.

Argos sell VISA pre-paid cards for £25 (plus £2.95 fee) - which you can buy on your amex. The Post Office may accept these as payment (they are effectively debit cards).

Wonder if that fee is per purchase!

Oh well I bit the bullet and used debit card, just hate spending hundred and not gaining Avios!
