Thanks Eric, HMRC confirmed that its taxable earnings so it wont affect it.
Secondly I can highly Recommend Ginge R as he has just given my some invaluable advice for the current future and I will be meeting him in the near future to discuss the long term future
So PH thanks for those who suggested him

Simpo, I'm the baddest, worse capitalist I know!!!
Ali, That's very kind of you to say so. I have just e-mailed you requesting your bank account details - will a personal cheque be acceptable?!
Charlie, It was very good to chat with you too, you're very kind. I'm a lucky boy for lots of reasons, like you will sometimes feel I'm sure, and I'm glad you landed on your feet (if you know what I mean!!). I have a similar pension to you (different campaign) and nearly all of my clients are either servicemen and women - or Pistonheaders.
Many are now my mates - for instance, I combined the best of both worlds yesterday and spent time at Brize Norton reviewing investment performance with a client before climbing into the brand spankers A400 Atlas sim and beating up David Cameron's CGI home at 100 feet - work like balance is good!
My attitude towards financial planning is macro - think big, think long and then work backwards. For now mate, dump your brain; enjoy life, enjoy summer, enjoy the champagne. You've deserved it. Have an occasional look at Personal Injury Trusts if you ever get really bored and we'll chat again sometime soon.

Good to hear - I dropped Ginge R a pm last night but not heard back (yet).
I've got it (picked it up this morning in fact), and many thanks for getting in touch. I'm doing fund research this afternoon - but I will certainly respond properly later when I've finished work and cracked a Hobgoblin in the garden. coetzeeh said:

Yhm!Me in the A400 Atlas sim, yesterday. I first flew out of Brize over 30 years ago and yesterday, I got to beat it up. The sim even has the Gateway accurately modelled in, as well as Wroughton. Nurses discos, now that's another story..
