Anyone got any tips on people that can help with bad credit? I have a default that was satisfied two years ago and I just feel like I've got no options but to ride it out until its gone from my file completely frown

How long does it take to set up? If I want to complete on 2nd Jan, when should I apply? My income is from multiple (4) sources and consists of LLP (self employed), employed PAYE salary and dividends
If you are LLP unless you have three years of accounts to show a borrower from personal experience that immediately limits you massively to who you can go to. Kind of depends how the LLP is structured and how you get paid....if you have a salary/draw there are some borrowers like Metro Bank that will look at you with less than three years. Job for a good broker.

It is insane at the minute wereby you are a current borrower and have been for years yet a new offer comes up from the same lender which will cost you less PCM than you have currently. As such their "affordability" tests are utter rubbish.

I've read on Martin Lewis that many are in this exact situation but some have been able to get through it with formal complaints escalating the issue

Might be worth a read on his website to some of you?
