Now paying 25% of income on mortgage as overpaying to the max before we buy a bigger house next year.

I think we are around 15%. We are still working on the place so no overpayments on this one as yet. Planning an extension too but I think I want a couple of years of payment on this one before I consider borrowing more

As she's just left and now its all me, 47%, but I am overpaying by a small amount (About 3%) and have many company share options which come directly out of my pay before I get my hands on it. I remortgaged about 18 months ago and decreased the term/increased the payment, was a good idea at the time. That said, long game, could be mortgage free in less than 5 years all being well.
