Get the property owned by a company abroad. Then don't tell anyone about it. Live there rent free. Just like 1000's of foreign crooks and doddgy billionares.

Annual Tax on Enveloped Dwelling. Basically a tax if the property is a UK property and is owned by a company and is a certain value as at 1 April 2012 or purchase date if later. Exemptions can be claimed such as commercially rented to an unconnected party of the owner of the Company. This year the levels are £1m to £2m value gets a charge of £7k per annum and greater charges if the property is worth more than £2m but next year the threshold lowers to property at £500k with a charge of £3.5k
