Not got anything to say other than hope you guys don't give up, your last post makes everything seem like a bit of a long term plan.

Just a little bit of clarity; EPA was replaced in October 2007 by Lasting Power of Attorney (LPA). So, if it was recent it would be the latter. No solicitor is needed for the latter.

Search for Office of the Public Guardian. That will tell you all you need to know.
