Drive almost all the way to Silverstone, get on chopper for 10 minute flight, £650+VAT Holy moly! Must admit though would be a great way to attend the Silverstone GP.When I worked on DA42's we had dealings with http://www.privilegeairservices.co.uk/grand-prix/ whilst I can't comment on the flying certainly the communications we had with them was second to none and it was always a highlight for me dealing with them compared to other operators.
I left prior to the Grand Prix but I believe a few customers did the long leg of their journey in the DA42 before transferring at cranfield to the helicopters or at least that's what I had planned for them.

I drove up from London, easy parking and a short well organised flight in and out of the circuit. Nice flight in over countryside and then around the circuit to the landing point.
Everybody arrives at different times so it's quite exciting when you see another helicopter. NOT the same at the end as everybody wants to leave asap so it's like being in a wasp swarm - a little hairy if you're a nervous flier but makes for awesome pictures too.
I looked at booking with my son as a treat recently, and i'm sure it wasn't "too" bad around £200/£250 each max. Which as a massive highlight i don't think is too bad.
Do it if you can, it the easiest way in and out you will ever have, and the most exciting.

I'm not 100% sure, but it was a bit like getting a taxi. By that i mean we mingled in the terminal (about 20 people) and they called out your name an you were on the next flight, so me and a friend were with 2x people we didn't know - but it didn't really matter as we were all excited to be flying in.
I'll look at my pictures to see if there is a name on the side.
Better still, i'll check with the wife as there is no way i'd have been allowed to arrange this if anything needed to be planned in advance!
EDIT - She thinks is was Rushmere Helicopters, and they arranged it by putting us into somebody else's group booking. This was about 5x years ago.
P.S. Don't sit in the middle seat, or all your pictures will have your mate or a stranger gawping out the window in them.
