I'm going to Italy on the 1st of July so I need some Euros soon.

As today's GBP to EUR rate is pretty good (1.30), I'm tempted to get £1,000 worth of Euros tomorrow, just in case the rates are badly effected by the EU referendum results.

Do you think this is a good idea? I don't see any point of waiting much longer to be honest - if we do stay in then the ex. rate isn't going to increase massively from 1.30, is it? Or is there a chance that it might?

I'm guessing that the ex. rate is more likely to dive if we vote leave, hence why I'm trying to hedge my bets by getting some Euros now and some after the referendum (or just using my card when I'm in Italy).

Any advice?

Cheers
