Shares dealing for the part time investor?

If you trade shares through HL they are instant too!

Sorry to hijack OP; but am thinking of setting up either an XO or IG trading account.

Anyone got any experience, good or bad, of either?

Xo have been ok for me, I've not had anything to complain about. There have been a few times where the service has been unavailable for a few minutes at a time, but nothing that concerns me.

The only slight oddity is that you top up your account by online card, but have to email to request a withdrawal by bank transfer. Seems a bit archaic and manual to me but hey ho.
