Agree.. Carney hates the idea of dropping interest rates, but them nudging close to (or on) 0% has to be more probable than possible now. March 2015 gilt dropped into negative territory yesterday, all the other signs are there.

I have two clients who have backed out of home purchases - a reduced rate and lower prices make taking a pause for reflection, common sense. Both very hefty and over longer term - a small mortgage over the short term wouldn't see as much impact of course. We'll start seeing the idea of helicopter money resurface soon too, if that doesn't work.
