Finally made up my mind to buy a Wortec exhaust for the VXR8, one question I have is were is the best place to advertise the exhaust that is currently on the car it's a walkinshaw performance exhaust. I was thinking eBay but someone mentioned selling on monkfish?

How much do you have in mind for this.

Not sure, to be honest I've not had the car up in the air since I bought it so not sure of condition and I hear there is a bit of a wait for wortec exhausts 5-6 weeks was a mentioned in another post I read.

I've got the Wortec too - loud enough to give you a headache when giving it the beans but nice and quiet at a 70mph cruise. Perfect thumbup

Indeed. You wont get any drone with the Wortec fitted.

From experience having had hundreds in with both WP and Wortec fitted its the WP that drones at motorway speeds 60-80. The Wortecs are fine even on loud

apart from Goldies biggrin

So after speaking to monkfish yesterday and today (very helpful thanks guys!) I have placed an order for a Wortec cat back. Will be interesting to hear the difference in volume from the walkinshaw performance exhaust I currently have on the car but think it's the right move for possible headers/cats upgrade at a later date as the wp has silencers right next to the cats. 4-6 weeks and I'll find out!

Having had my WP exhaust for 7 years I too can confirm I get no drone, even with the lack of centre box and being on permanent loud, either way its still a better sound than what they originally arrive with.

It wasn't a dig at Wortec owners but think theres a few who removed a wortec system for a WP system due to drone.

Each to their own smile
