Morning all,

Checking my credit file (ClearScore) there is an entry from BT with £20 o/s which is registered at an address I used to live at (at a date after I lived there). This is showing as the marker of death! However didn't cause mortgage issues last year.

I exchanged messages with BT who advise they can't find the account on their system and that I should contact Equifax to have them raise a case on it, as then BT will put 'effort' into looking into it. I have no accounts with BT.

Does this sound right?

Looking at the equifax site I can't find anything which enables that.

Assuming I should do it through CS?
