SDLT Autumn Statement
Discussion
Just thinking through, I am convinced that the extra 3% SDLT on investment/second homes will get repealed in the autumn statement. I fancy a punt with £2-3k so whose shares will get the most uplift don't want to do CFD's or anything clever; many years ago I was a currency/futures trader and happily have forgotten all about it.

I've seen this statement now several times on here, but absolutely nowhere else. What is leading people to this conclusion?Answers on a postcard
Generally jungle drums, also alot of chatter on various property forums

Its the sensible thing to do, I may be talking my book, but I'm happy to have a small punt, I did well selling what used to be called "cable" in my day $/£ on Brexit so thought I would back another hunch, just need to figure out what to buy
