House sale proceeds

Need somewhere sensible to stash house sale proceeds for a few months before we buy again.

NS&I at 1% looking like a sensible option - any others to consider?

That is about your only option really, with the added benefit of being completely backed by the government (assuming you have less than £1 million in the account)

You could buy premium bonds instead if you fancied a bit of excitement.

Unfortunately there is nowhere else you can put the money for a short amount of time to get anything more than 1%.
