As per title, with a young family I need to sort out a will. Assets are such that it does need to be more then a generic off the interweb, as well as having a daughter from a previous relationship who needs to be written in. At the same time I don't want to be bent over a barrel due to walking into a solicitors office/online firm wide eyed & innocent.

How does one go about finding a reputable firm that can sort it out properly?

Can anyone recommend a reputable firm who could come out to us? We are midlands based for what it is worth.

Many thanks,

Craikeybaby

We had ours done last year, after the birth of our son. We used our normal IFA, who is Hinckley based, but it seems like he put it through http://www.willsplus.co.uk/.

If things are complicated you may want to speak to a solicitor who is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) - if you do a google search you will come up with the link where you can put in your address and it comes up with local ones. They will have the necessary experience to advise and the difference in fees between them and a generic will writing company is unlikely to be more than £200 for the pair.
