I'd suggest speaking to one of the big international Private Banks, The likes of UBS, Credit Suisse, Barclays, Morgan Stanley etc there should be one of those that will service ex-pats in your neck of the woods. May not be cheap, but will at least be there tomorrow morning!

That's because they're in IOM and HK and don't/won't do business inside UK(or EU).

Be the one who avoided it, rather then the one who handed over all their savings (when the interview happens).

That's a fair point Beano. Although there are other IoM providers that are also FCA approved, e.g. Old Mutual. Any thoughts on them please?
