Hi Guys apologies if this is a stupid question, but I have a bit of money ive been holding on to for a while and am looking at investing.
-Additionally I have shares held in the company I work for, but as yet no account set up to deal them.

Ive been looking at share dealing accounts and considering opening one with HL, however I then noticed stocks and shares ISA's, which on the face of it appear as normal cash ISA's that you can also deal from? Making this seem like the logical option to go for (can save and trade)

Is anyone able to provide a quick breakdown and the pros/cons of each?

Thanks in advance!

ISA. No difference in costs so why not save tax? The end.

There's a huge tax saving to potentially be had by using the ISA wrapper - that's the biggest pro. Alongside that, if managed correctly you have much more diversity and therefore theoretically less risk.

PM me if you need any help.
