just wondering how those who were 55 plus a year ago feel about how they have done in regards to pension choices..
drawdowns,
transfers out of defined benefit schemes etc
see lots on here asking for advice
but has the reality lived up to what they hoped
also who used funds to buy their dream car / house

left work a 49, took pension at 50 now nearly 52
lump sum still in the bank doing nothing, using monthly to live on, no more 12hr shifts for me !! chilling time.

earliest I can access pension is 55,
all options will be reviewed in the 12 months leading up to that time...
thinking of retiring at 58......
but that is not set in stone
all pensions looking good
