What correspondence records do banks keep?

Hi All

I am in dispute with our bank - a big one whose name is 4 letters beginning with an H and ending in C.

I raised the issue with our branch account manager twice over a 6-year period but the bank claims to have no record of the correspondence.

So, what records will the bank have kept reference letter and email communication between me and our account manager?

Anyone have knowledge here please?

If you request a DSAR (Data Subject Access Request) in writing then you can request everything they have on you including recordings of all phone calls, notes etc.
