My BiL died at the end of last year and we've been helping his Wife with a few things, one of which is his UK state Pension.

He lived in Sweden for 18 years, the last 10 of which he was married to a Swedish lady who is now entitled to his pension, access to which requires the filling of of a myriad of forms.

On one of them, it asks her to list the days she has spent in the UK over the time she was with him.

This is an impossible question to answer, really.

Would anyone know any way of getting this information from - for example - UK customs? Would they hold a record of her (and his) various trips over this period of time and is this accessible?

Any help gratefully received,

Ginge R

Steve,

I recall discussing a similar instance like this with a colleague a few years back. My grey matter is being stretched, so if you'd rather discuss off-forum please drop me a line and I'll try and help.
