DOGE is beyond bonkers today. Funny, though
For all of those that believe Crypto is a serious thing, how can a coin created as a joke from a meme by the 5th largest coin by market cap?And Ripple, which has been delisted by a lot of exchanges is now the 4th biggest coin by market cap?
For those who are buying DOGE, what do they actually think they are buying apart from into a FOMO greater fool?

HODL, every time I have sold a coin because it is going down I have regretted it big time. Joey Deacon said:

HODL, every time I have sold a coin because it is going down I have regretted it big time. DOGE does not and was setup as a meme or joke.
Do not conflate the two.
As to XRP not being listed on several US exchanges, that is down to the dubious SEC action. Dubious you say? Yes, dubious. Instigated on the last day of the chairman's reign before he went off, with other senior advisers at the SEC, to work for ETH and BTC companies. Hilarious. Anyway, the SEC ruling will eventually be toast and then XRP will be re-listed.

HODL, every time I have sold a coin because it is going down I have regretted it big time. Who cares if it's crypto? I think most of us recognise a coin like DOGE is risky. Does that mean it isn't an investment opportunity? No. Does that mean we think DOGE is going to change the world of finance or currency? No.
I'm not convinced by XRP but there's plenty of liquidity/interest in it so could be worth trading.
Sold some of my QTUM from this morning for +9% ROI. Order is in to sell a bit more DASH at $358 if it gets there. I was perhaps a little impatient with XRP earlier but it was only a small position in any case.
I had been eyeing up LTC a bit earlier thinking about moving some more money into it and just saw that it's pumped up. If i'm honest, I think DASH / LTC are going to be something supported for everyday purchases. Other projects have their uses but those I can see being picked up by mastercard/Visa etc. for real world use.
Edit: LTC almost back to the levels when Charlie Lee pulled the rug on holders. I bought a few more DOT and staked them but may lighten my position if it shoots up.

If you can't handle a minor dip like 10%, you should probably avoid crypto. A major correction would see 50%+wiped off your holdings. The only thing consistent though is that people who hold crypto long term (5+ years) make big returns.I did a little reading on XRP. Seems interesting. From what I've read, it seems to be aiming to be a replacement to the SWIFT banking system, providing cheaper and quicker global bank transfers. I can certainly see something like that being taken up by banks if it saves them money.
It seems Stellar is similar to XRP, but targets individuals rather than banks.
I know there's a fair few cryptos with real world use behind them, but which ones stand out for you as having a future?

Stella and XRP set up by same bloke, similar code.It seems Stellar is similar to XRP, but targets individuals rather than banks.

XRP coin isn't actually need to use XRP technology. There isn't really a burn on usage and no real strategy/plan when they dump coins.

I thought the same about 3 years ago. Alas, it has still not happened. It seems Stellar is similar to XRP, but targets individuals rather than banks.

I reckon at some point Ripple will go for an IPO and then move away from the XRP token and market their other products.

They cashed about 600 million USD so far plus whatever profit from xrp labs. The company is worth billions, they don't have to actually do anything. They would clearly fail any proper audit that is required to be listed.I reckon at some point Ripple will go for an IPO and then move away from the XRP token and market their other products.

1k GDP of Doge bought at Xmas 2020 is worth 130k now... less than 4 months that must be a record.
Will it ever hit $1? Or $10? Or $100....$10 DOGE = $1 trillion market cap. The same as what Bitcoin is sitting at currently.
I would say that it's very fanciful thinking that it will even get to $10. Maybe i'm very wrong but I feel common sense would kick in at some point.
